Kicks for Kids Initiative
Giving families and kids in the Greater Toronto Area a positive start to a new school year by providing aid and easing the financial burden that may come hand in hand with back-to-school shopping. Every child deserves a great first day of school.
Did you know?
According to the Toronto Child Poverty report, 10 of the city’s wards have overall child poverty rates between 30.2% and 45.2% and within some wards, up to 72.3%.
Kicks for Kids’s mission is to help reduce those rates via community engagement and financial support.

2024 Goals
Help over 350 children across multiple shelters in the city
Make sure each child receives brand kicks, clothing, bag, school supplies and hopefully more
As of March 2023, 45 volunteers registered for this year’s activities
Reach more families through events held through out the summer. This year introducing Hockey, Softball and a Community Garage sale.
2024 and beyond…
The sky is the limit with our team of passionate board members and volunteers! We hope we can reach as many children as possible and we’re always coming up with ways of bringing our communities together. Not only to raise the money required to reach our goals but also to connect with one another. Future goals include sport mentoring for children, summer camps, scholarships and so much more.
